I've already passed the CompTIA Network+ and the Security+ and my ATMAE CTM certifications. I'd like to take another certification, but I'm a little undecided...
What I'm interested in are certifications that are lifetime or don't expire too quick. I'm 26 and I don't want a 1 or 3 year certification (Cisco - CCNA) that will expire by the time I'm 30... I know that CompTIA is moving away from the lifetime certs as of Jan 1st. I also know that Microsoft has lifetime certs, but by the time I get certified, they'll already be deploying Windows 8... I want: Linux+ or LPIC-1, CCNA, and MCITP for Win7 Desktop Support or Administration. Which one should I go with and why? Or if you have any other choices that you feel are better options, please feel free to voice your opinion. Thank you, |
