Default What Network+ learning is needed for Linux+

Hey Guys,

I'm absolutely sharp to inch toward getting started on Linux+ (Self-Study) but in the book I'm perusing it expresss Network+ is prescribed before Linux+.

What I'm considering is what sort of information is needed,

i.e. Fundamental Network+ dexterities or a progressed grasping.

My present networking aptitudes incorporate:

Grasping the divergence amidst virtual world and outside IP Addresses.

Comprehending Static VS Dynamic IP Addresses,

Comprehending IP Address Classes,

Mac Addressing,

Incoming vs extroverted ports and port sending,

IP Services-i.e. DHCP,

Essential Subnetting

Fluctuating aids that run on TCP/IP and their relating port numbers (and how to utilize them):

FTP

SSH

Telnet

SMTP

HTTP

HTTPS

Departure betwixt TCP and UDP.

I run my particular Domain Controller and Proxy server at home.

Is this level of information sufficient for a pass in Linux +?
