This exam is profitable to take. There are so many training materials in the internet and to be well prepared it is necessary to choose a trustworthy material. I passed this exam and i used Darril Gibson's Book and Sybex and Transcender material. All these stuff are pretty good for good preparation. Overstudy and too much training material only confuse the readers. So, i think it is better to choose the self study method in proper way to pass this exam.

The training course can be taken in both self preparation and by attending in training classes. But this exam is easy to pass by taking self preparation. Just one need to have some guidelines, course books and practice exam to pass SY0-201 exam. There is a bunch of questions on specific virus types such as armored, stealth, retro, etc. All these things need to be known to pass this exam. But i think Darril Gibson's is best.
