Hi Michel. I am attending the A+, Network+, and Security+ Boot Camp certification training at SelfTestEngine in Atlanta. I opted to do all three in the Boot Camp, but yes, with CED Solutions, you can take each course separately. In every class we had people attend just that training, such as Security+.
Have you ever heard of SelfTestEngine ? They are great! The price for the course includes hotel, lodging, books and materials, and breakfast and lunch are provided free of charge each day. The hotel I'm at has a shuttle that takes you to and from the class every day. They have a great pass rate for the courses they offer-85%+, so that's good. Take care, Jesse |

Even though you can take the Sec+ without the Net+, just keep in mind there may be questions related to networking in the Sec+ exam.
I took and passed my Sec+ exam last Monday and they threw in a question about available hosts using CIDR (Classless Inter-Domain Routing)... It asked something along the line of "What are the valid hosts that can be used with the following address 192.168.1.56/24?" Do your homework and you'll be fine though. Also... remember that the questions the test asks are NOTHING like what you'll be reading in your study materials. They do like to use questions that start like this: "What is the BEST choice for...?" or "What is MOST likely..." Hope you pass!
