Just curious,
Should I take the two CCENT tests to get the CCNA, or just dive right into the CCNA and "kill two birds with one stone"? I'm certain the test will be much more difficult than taking two entry level exams. However, I'd much rather save the time and money to work twice as hard and get it done and over with. Please let me know of your experiences and input. Thanks, |

I think you should go for CCNA but the fact is it's also depend on your level of experience and your ability to take this test. You CCNA exam is little bit harder than the two individual CCENT exams. So if you're confident enough with your knowledge level then you can take CCNA. It's upto you! But i will say don't be so hurry for taking any exam take time and validate your skill otherwise certs are nothing.
Anyway, Best of luck with whatever you choose. |

But i will suggest you that don't jump straight to CCNA. As now have the insight of having CCENT 1 then it would be easier for you to take CCENT 2.You better avoid the shortcut and go for CCENT 2. You know there is no cost difference and the CCNA exam is harder than CCENT. So go with CCENT first, it is easier to study and to pass. I must say going the CCENT > CCNA route will be an wise decision. There is no any loss of having both CCENT certs rather it would be a plus point for your skill. So think and choose carefully.
Good luck for your journey! |
