Recently I found many peopls talking about the Cisco renewal policy, here i will share some information:
Recertification Renewal Timeframes •Entry-level, Associate-level, and Professional-level certifications are valid for three years and must be recertified before the certfication expiration date. •All CCIE certifications are valid for two years and must be recertified by the deadline to remain on active status. •Specialist certifications are valid for two years and can be renewed by retaking all exams required for the certification. Cisco Sales Expert (CSE) designations are valid for two years and must be recertified regardless of other certifications you have achieved, are currently pursuing or are in the process of recertifying. If you want to know more, you can visit About Recertification - IT Certification and Career Paths - Cisco Systems |

I also finished my two Cisco certs but i think now its time to get recertified. And i know that recertifying any of the certifications above automatically extends the active Associate and Professional level certification. So everybody should do it after a certain period.

Yup agree with you. Very good information but in order to recertify successfully, candidates are required to pass a qualifying recertification exam before the certification expiration date. Otherwise it will expire and become inactive. So every certified people need to know it.
